We are honored to host the 2025 Lake Benbrook Half Marathon & 5K on January 25, 2025, in memory of Michael Polansky. Michael, who passed away on May 8, 2023, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease, is deeply missed by the running community.
This year, we will feature custom medals with his image as a keepsake to remember his legacy. In 2022, we had the privilege of honoring Michael while he was still with us by hosting the 33rd Lake Benbrook Half Marathon & 5K in his name. Despite his health challenges, Michael was able to address the crowd and start the races remotely via his cell phone. Although he could not attend in person, hearing his voice live over the PA System was an unforgettable moment for all in attendance.
Join us as we celebrate Michael’s incredible contributions to the running community and show our appreciation for his years of dedication.

AWARDS ARE AWARDED THREE DEEP IN EACH AGE GROUP FOR THE MARATHON, HALF MARATHON, & 5K.
Results will be posted live at www.coxracingservices.com. All award winners can pick up their awards at the event site during the event or at Luke's Locker in Fort Worth the following week.
Awards will not be mailed after the event. Therefore, award winners must pick up their award at the race site or by February 17th at Luke's Locker in Fort Worth.
